Program: The client comprised of an elderly couple, and their children; each of whom required their own smaller individualized units. The project consisting of renovating a 500sqm chalet for the parents, that also acts as a gathering space for the entire family; individual units for the children and two diwaniyas. 

With that in mind, the diwanyas were positioned at the entrance of the property; with the most privates spaces of the chalet for the family with view of the water. A typical, repetitive unit was designed (200 aqm) that included  contained an open living + dining, kitchen, 2 bedrooms and three bathrooms. The renovation consisted of updating the interior as well as the exterior to ensure that all the units spoke the same visual language. All the units contained shared service spaces (swimming pool and playgrounds) as well as outdoor recreational areas.
